im just wondering what people think is the worst thing they have experienced in renegade, or the one thing that they hate the most in servers.
i would have to say that i hate ctf servers with any sort of vehicle

I most hate these things:
1. Almost no one buys vehicles
2. I am almost the only one who repairs vehicles on the battlefield(This is how I got many recomendations)
3. No one mines the tunnels on maps without defences
4. No one co-operates
5. (in RenAlert) People buy demo trucks when enemy invades the base
6. Enemy constantly uses Noobjets
7. People Buy APCs when APC rush just is not possible
8. When on Nod team, almost all people use artillery only
9. Everithing except point 5.
I could go on and on... But I still love this game more than CounterStrike.

I fail to see the point in complaining about it. You might as well bitch at people for repairing vehicles and buildings to keep those from getting destroyed. It's not cheap...just smart. If you're right next to a PT and some dude is shooting you, it's just plain stupid to NOT take advantage of the refill. Besides...if the person you're shooting is near a PT they can use, then they are in their own base and you are invading it- therefore thay are well within their rights to use any and all means within the scope of legal gameplay to evict you. Too bad for you; bring backup next time and aim for the head.

First and foremost cheaters.
The damage a ramjet inflicts on light armor vehicles.
Wreckage shells, and vehicle crates, especially when you have taken the other teams building.
The stupid ass God crate what the fuck is that bullshit.
The fact that your team can dominate a match, and lose by points. IE A match at Walls where Nod has all 4 structures and GDI only has the barracks.
That a sniper at Field can be the games MVP.
Players with tunnel vision. "I want to be a sniper, and I don't care if the refinery is almost gone. I'm getting a sniper."
Players that over value a character and undervalue a structure. I saw an SBH watch a hotwire go into the refinery. He keyed the radio but never went in to defend it himself. A 400 credit character is worth more than the refinery? Thats only if he gets killed.
What is the song by Sonny and Cher? "And the list goes on"
I forgot these gems.
Leaving a structure repairable after detonating 2 remote and 2 timed c4.
Blasting your enemy in the back of the head with a shotgun, then proceeding to fight with them to get the kill.
Killing your enemy with one shotgun blast, even though it was a clear miss.
Warping, especially when I have just tossed my c4 on to the MCT.

I mean to say, a shotgun blast to the head, at point blank range should take only 1 shot. Sometimes it works, but other times it does not. Other times, I can be from the door of the AGT to the back wall and get a kill with 1 shot. Even if I don't aim so good.
I also, hate losing a game. I'm a sore loser.

The worst is...
People who repeatedly buy 1000 dollar snipers no matter how many times they die from a copter, not even once trying to buy a copter instead, because that would take a minimal amount of skill.
And even worse is people who buy 1000 dollar snipers when the enemy barracks/hand of Nod goes down. and even if you do kill the assholes with a shotgunner/soldier they'll come right back at you with another stupid $1000 sniper

My biggest complaint: Idlers. These people deserve a special place in heck.

The difficulty in reporting exploits.

People who Apache rush, and then complain when our 'nubjets' wipe them from the sky in seconds.
Certain cocky moderators. (Yeah, you have rank, but you're not gods. Some of my fellow cadet Master Sergeants make more mistakes than our Corporals.)
People who try to advertise their sites/products/selves. Get a life.
The laser-chaingunner's character model. Butt-ugly.
Idiot's trying to fly transport heli's in the midst of actual pilots. I enjoy shooting you down  .
Chem sprayers. I imagine they smell quite bad.
Mutant Raveshaw (as a character). Jerk. 10 headshots with a rocket launcher, twenty pounds of c4, 3 cannisters of combustible oil... and two shots with a pistol. I still died.
Alright. That's enough for now.
EDIT: Er, the Raveshaw thing refers to single-player mode.

Though, I would understand if I was being !n00bed for throwing down 30 in the same spot. (Watched an idiot do that once. Not only did it leave the base unprotected, but the enemy saw the mines, walked around them, and proceeded.)
PPPS: This practice allows for close medic support in the tunnels, as well as covers their retreat. I saved quite a few people because their pursuer ran into a mine-stack.
And... I never use more than six mines in an entire map. The other 24 are usually thrown in the PP by some random n00b.

There's a reason why they're called n00bjets, and I'll explain.
1. Most of them shoot at anything they see, including tanks, some may even sit in their base doing this. and when they shoot apache's/stanks they get massive points. So they're shooting them just for points, and it's a bug because why in god's name should you get about 20 points per shot in shooting a stank? That'd be over 500 points if the stank had around full health.
2. Secondly, they're n00bjets because it's not entirely hard for ANYONE to shoot a copter down, especially when a band of them are together, since it takes 5 (count: 5 shots) to take ONE down.(Which isn't all too hard since the bullet is instant and you're firing at a VEHICLE) That means with two n00bjets it takes 3 shots each (no reload) with three n00bjets it takes 2 shots each and with 5 it'll only take one. The only good thing going on for the guy in the copter is he knows that most are going to be n00bs since the whole principle of shooting a copter and getting points is so entirely easy that it's like a big fuckin' magnet for n00bs to use them.
3. Thirdly, they'll even go as far as to just stay in the damn windows the entire game potshooting anything just for points, you aren't going to kill one sitting in the window, you're just doing it for points. If you want to really cover a field, you go to the bridge, but even then most often or not, a n00bjetter won't have the testicular fortitude to go by himself on the bridge, that he'll wait in his base where his base defence protects him and copters can't reach. Only when does this retard get a group of two or more havocs with him would he finally go on the bridge. Then, by the time you notice them shooting your team they probably already gained enough points to buy a new havoc after i kill all three. They'll keep doing this, over and over and over. Usually not even ONCE trying to use a copter to kill the copter because a sniper has such an obvious advantage over with its stupid damage bug abuse.
The sad thing is: I see it more often lately than ever. Seeing a team with 7+ havocs, and when they finally lose their barracks? They'll suck the entire game because they can't use anything else to have a decent score without having to n00bjet the entire game. Often times they leave.
PS: And you also you'll find it's their first character of choice to buy after the enemy hand/barracks is dead.

Good. I hate cats. I managed to beat Mutant Raveshaw later, but who the heck can take 7 rockets to the face?
Also: More things I hate:
The glitch where I cannot use a PT without first throwing a timed c4 on myself (only way to keep your money).
People who mock me for doing this.
People who continually waste ammo on their own teammates.
People who spend the whole 30 minutes shooting their name on the BAR wall.
People who will die trying to repair a building, but ignore the beacon they're standing next to. (We lose so many refineries that way.)
People who spend the entire time complaining about lag. (Use !lagfix and move out.)
The credit lag when a harvester is dropping off Tiberium at ref (for 15 secs, you can't gain credits).
People who !forcerg me every time I kill them (I have Renguard, so it won't work, morons.)

People who complain because they die of "invisible mines" in the tunnels. (Heh. My signature strategy. Very hard not to die from.)
The startup noise for Renguard. Not that it's bad, just a little repetitve.
BTW, it can't be called nubjet if both sides use it in the same way. Either don't lose your Bar/HON to begin with, or don't complain when the enemy point-whores.
