As long as the game play is not dull (Minishing Cap) it looks like a kickass game.

You do know that movies were able to be put on a psp the day it came out, by putting it onto a memory stick? And yes you can compress them down small enough to have it fit with an encoder program.

DS > PSP for sure, and I have irrefutable evidence.

DS = 2 screens
PSP = 1 screen
2 > 1.

Therefore

DS > PSP.

But what about the size?

DS 3" x 2 =6"

PSP 7"

Well since you're saying that playing roms "all the way up to snes" is l33t for the DS, you should know that PSPs have emulators working that can run snes, GBC, GBA, Genesis, Neo-Geo, PSOne ISOs and more. It can also run homebrew programs such as personal planners, internet browsers other than what it already has, home made games *including the doom-psp port,duke nukem 3D port, quake etc" It can play videos, MP3s, store photos, browse the internet and pretty soon it will be able to play DS roms I'm sure (that would mean the DS would be well and truly owned)

The PSP has more processing power, clocking at 333mhz, It has 1 large screen thats very sharp and clear, its small, comfortable to hold and has clear speakers.

PSP > DS in almost every way. The only downside is for those nerds who want to play "project rub" and rub up pictures of women for fun, those people need a life, seriously...

I currently have Genesis, SNES, NES, GBC, and Atari 2600 emulators on my PSP. There are also MAME, TurboGrafix, NeoGeo CD and soon to be N64 emulators for the PSP.

PSP FTW

If the DS has a touch screen, how would you emulate that on a PSP? It makes no sense. I suppose it could be done with the analog stick, but that would be really uncomfortable to use.

DS uses cartridges wich have faster loading time than a CD.

DS>PSP

[EDIT]

A few more things.

Better graphics dosent mean good games just good looking shit games.

DS has 2 screens and can have a FPS on it. EX:Metroid hunters an awesome game with online multiplayer

PSP has one little nubby thing (kinds like youre penis) and to do a FPS you have to do weird button setups.

%70 of all PSP games are sports games
None of the games on PSP sound any fun to me besides GTA liberty city sotres wich is coming to PS2.

And the biggest one is.
DS has LOZ:Phantom Hourglass. Thats a total rape of the PSP right there.

DS>PSP
Gameplay>Graphis
LOZ>[Insert all other games here]

Considering the library of ROMs that can be run on the PSP, it has far more good games than the DS.

Also, PSP games are getting much better. With the release of Daxter, and Syphon Filter: Dark Mirrior the system is finally getting what it needed, in terms of a solid library. And for the record, Syphon Filter is a shooter and it controls great.

About the games, the DS was the same way. For awhile, there was a huge lack of titles available. Just now is it getting some good software.

DS carts are extremly limited in space. They are also fairly expensive to produce.

3D games also come out looking horrendous. The DS is basically an updated GBA with a 3D chip in it.

It all depends one what type of person you are. For me Nintendo 64 was the best system ever made, while PS1 and PS2 I like only a few titles (Red Alert, Katamari, The Warriors) and for the Nintendo 64, I enjoy practically all of them.

So for me a portable N64 is alot better than a portable PS.
