The keyboard should have come with a software CD. Stick that in and install the software.

have you tried opening internet explorer (or your browser of choice) before pressing the forward / back / home / search buttons?

Since, you know, thats what they are supposed to do... of course being a microsoft product you most likely just wasted your money...

if you get the model number of the keyboard you can go on the microsoft website or sumwhere else and download the drivers/software and that might work

really? that does surprise me

I see the brand 'Microsoft' and run a mile! My keyboard and mouse are both Logitech (and my speakers and joystick come to think of it... Tell Me )

You just need to install a GUI or keyboard applet or key-map program. Whatever you want to call it.
It will be under input devices at majorgeeks.com
I personally use one from HP 's web site, but I installed about 15 of them before I found one I like. I guess what I am using is an applet because it adds the "button" tab into my keyboard properties. Then I can change the address to whatever as you can see the photo key is actually a web address. The pictures next to the keys are propaganda I tell you.
