Alright I haven't played renegade command and conquer for about 6 months. When I got on today a message came up saying "login to xcc online failed" and then it says "no servers found at this time"
I am running windows xp with a cable Internet connection and do not currently have a fire wall. I have reinstalled my game and created a new account with a new nick name. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

Nowadays, creation of a nick is done by logging in with it for the first time. That's since xcc online (xwis) took over WOL.
My best guess is that someone already registered the name you wanted.
If that's not the problem, then maybe it's a firewall probem?
Either way, first try logging in with another name. No need for the WOL website to create it, just log in with it.
You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord

Don't just turn of a Firewall open the ports you need if it's a decent software Firewall you can either do that manual by doing portnumbers or auto by adding the .exe of the aplication in this case Renegade.
But He currently doesn't have a FW
So it must be one of the other solutions
WOL nick: JPNOD

Did you ever use the XWISC tool to connect to XWIS when you used to run renegade before? You might need to use the tool to reset your wol ip addresses back to the defaults...
