I'm...not quite following the point of this post. It seems kind of pompous...arrogant, perhaps... Pointless, even. I think the main question here is, "Are you just posting to post, or are you looking for new clanmates?" If the latter, you should stick with family members and friends, seeing as that's the thick of your "guild" to begin with.(At least that's what I'm getting from the post.) If the former, why bother posting in the first place? It's like waving a box of pizza in front of a thousand people and mockingly going "I haaaave piiii-zzaaaaaaa, I haaaave piiii-zzaaaaaaa..." through a megaphone. Many people may look, but not many will truly care.
But that's just my two pesos.
Edit: ...damn. Now I'm hungry for pizza.
Second Edit: Most of this post was in reference to the first version of this topic. Which disappeared as VAB...uh...nuked it. Man, I wish this forum software had a strikethrough Code.

Pretty much, my opinions are all the advice I have. It's better to clan with friends and people you know than take in strangers off the net-slums, but you're perfectly welcome to do whichever you feel necessary. More people will probably give their opinions when they get around to seeing this topic, I hope...'cause that's all the positive stuff you'll get outta me, and I try to avoid being an ass on these topics as much as I can.(Unless...unless the person who made the topic seems like an ass themselves, or just seem asinine. Then I might stick around just to mess with them. =P)

If you want my advice, try to join an existing clan. Renegade is too old to start from scratch.
