Yo.

I didn't pay a terrible amount of attention when I upgraded to Core Patch 2...but it upgraded a few maps, if I'm not mistaken. One of these maps is C&C_Field.mix. Apparently, the n00bstories.com server thinks my copy of Field is "bad or curropt" since I updated, seeing as n00bstories.com has yet to upgrade their side of things.(As far as I know. I could very well be wrong!)

Just thought I'd let'cha know. I'd post on n00bstories, but apparently, they're not accepting new members at this time(and I sort of lost my old login information anyway...)

Well actually, I think the register system on n00bstories is broken which is why you can't sign up.

Let all your wishes be granted except one, so you will still have something to strieve for.

That'd do it, too.(Honestly, I thought my IP was blocked from doing so or something at first, but then I realized I hadn't done anything drastic in fleeing the community.)

RenGuard checks against their own database of good maps, not the ones of the server, so the server you were playing on is irrelevant.

The registration system is not broken, I just haven't linked the site registration up to the forum registration yet.

I'm the bawss.

Maybe it was not patched with the rest. Or maybe it somehow got replaced with an older bersion of that map when you were installing something. Big Ups

Or maybe your hard drive is starting to fail? Sad

Though that one's rather doubtful.

Nah, that's possible. I've been rebooting spontaniously every now and then since I updated the RAM and installed a DVD-R/CD-RW Dual Drive... Always happens that the sound studders for a half-second, then the whole thing reboots. The Microsoft site says my BIOS might be too out of date or something, though. Meanwhile, my techie friends say "That's bullshit." Dunno.

May sounds stupid. But this was just happeneing to mine. Check the CPU temperature by feeling it or dwnlding mother board moniter 5.

Who knows, maybe your CPU is Uber heating up and causing computer to reboot.

That's a wonderful and refreshing idea, while you're at it Lithius you could also get a thin metal object and push it into a plug socket. Sarcasm
