of course logs are required. if not than any person can walk in here and say something like. These names were banned from my channel also because he sexually harrased me and my members. Without complete logs of the users Hostname, timestamps, IRC server, etc his post means nothing.

I really dont understand why people keep on ripping on me and Snip. I have a feeling that the people that continue to flame havent read an entire post yet. And this one weird guy seems to think I am snip and keeps on acting like I'm the one who was banned. I find this all very weird, and I think this whole thing should just blow over.
However, for those that still continue to question the integrity of snip, I feel sorry for you. You obviously havent noticed just how many people keep coming in and supporting him, that he has apologised, and that none of us are flaming BHS. Whoever got the picture that I was flaming BHS didn't read my posts. I love BHS, and they do a great job.
And also, please stop non-stop flaming of fnfall servers. Yes, it has had its bad mods, but what server hasnt? There is not a perfect server out there. There are plenty of good mods on there, and to put us all together as terrible people and mods is not only ignorant but it is insulting to me.
Again, thank you Crimson for doing so much work to look into this and respond to this post so much, it really shows that you care and I appreciate it.

that guy has never even registered in the fnfall irc.. nor I don't beleive he was ever a mod in the fnfall irc/ room/ server.. etc... I think thats just some random idiot spamming you.. Cuzz there isn't even any rooms that are there wtih that name, nor have ever existed in the fnfall irc. Unless you have other evidence of such spam from one of us? I think your highly mistaken on who is spamming you.

Let me show you this, if you don't mind. If you wanna know where the name ECXian came from, it came from a user named Acolyte got thought he'd avoid the horribly simple remote I set up to kick him under that name. Something along the lines of "if * in ? says !xian, attempt to //kick these screennmes." I don't get why it's so important to you.
If somebody is going by your names on various channels and registering under them on cheating sites and playing Renegade with the same names as you, you've got a serious problem on your hands. He's copying your typing style, methods of argument, and has an in-depth knowledge of how you operate so much that he's convinced me that he's the same as you!
If you want, I bet I can bring a bunch of witnesses in who saw your pages about cheating sites where you were registered under your other names, that you were posting a lot under your *yet other* names. In fact, you posting about these cheating sites prompted a bunch of people, including my old roommate, to register at those cheating sites and mock the script kiddie techno-tards there and allow the moderators know that all the admins and mods at the site are clueless asshats.
Read the line below this very carefully. You get it after pressing that awesome button I first noted at the very start of this post. Seeing as how you frequent at least one forum beyond this, I'd expect you to know about the "edit" button.

Lets see, this is an IRC channel you are talking about. Yes i know of Acolyte because i banned him from my clans websites, multiple servers, and the IRC server that i am on for Death threats. The only name i have seen him use is Xian, because that is the name that i used when i banned him, was also the name i used on the website. So if this in an IRC channel then why are my renegade names in your list? most of the names in that list i used one time. ECBot was a ren name i made for my bot when went back to using RenChat1. That name has never been in any game what so ever. ph1gg, used one time. along with almost all of them. so therefore acolyte would only recognize the nicks Xian, snipgod, yoda, my 3 most freakenly used names. So yes, bring in your witnesses, but have them bring logs. Because i can bet that you are making this entire story up. Get your information straight.
Oh, you havnt told me yet, if you had a script to ban someone from your channel if the Host name matched. What was the host name of the user you were banning? And PLEASE tell me the IRC server. So dont go making up lies so you sound like you know what your saying. For every "witness" that you bring here to say that i spammed that, i can bring 2 saying that i would never do such a thing. Until you can do everything that i just asked for. Dont talk.

#3. He was in fact in the wrong with his actions but by banning him for doing something wrong it seems to me as if XPHaze should suffer the same consequences as they did something wrong as well.
#4. Naturally when people find out that one of their friends has been banned from Renegade they are going to come to the forums read the topic and support their friend. As for whomever posted about direct connecting to servers, many servers on Renegade have a block that will not allow people to direct connect to them.
Just keep in mind that by not using the direct connect method to play he is obeying his ban completely. I am asking the same thing as pujols that you look at your rules and regulations that are set up in order to make Renegade a great game to play (which it always has been from the start). Who I am doesn't matter I could care less how many of you know me and don't know me. I play this game for fun and oftentimes enjoyed playing with snip; He has made it clear he understands that his actions were in the wrong, as well as apologizing for those actions.
I just personally believe that everyone deserves a second chance, this is a policy I have always saw as an effective way of finding out who those people are that you can really trust. Everyone makes mistakes, the honest ones are the ones who realize those mistakes and accept that what they did was wrong. If it is true that you in-fact unbanned all of the people who ruined the actual game by cheating it seems to me as if spamming a bot that shouldn't have been their in the first place giving you a ban that would never be lifted is outrageous. Thanks for your time and please take the time to read my entire post as I have tried to cover everything in one post.

XPhaze removed their bot after this, but after further discussion we are allowing the bot to be on there. We're in the process of drafting up the Renegade-specific rules modifications to be approved by Olaf and DonCarlo at XWIS. I already said this, too.

I don't know what you expect me to respond to or answer here.
If the server wants to kick direct-connect people, that's not my concern. The ban was from connecting to XWIS, not banned from connecting to servers that are in turn connected to XWIS. The ban from XWIS was to ensure he was not able to page flood someone else again.
And just for the record, I did have his ban removed, and next time he decides to page flood someone there will be no removal.
Also, if you're going to INSIST that I respond to your questions, read the entire thread so you don't look like an ass wanting answers to questions I've already answered elsewhere.

Maybe I forgot to put that in my last post, but seeing as how I just pasted it over directly, I think I remembered. I'm pretty sure I explained this already in earlier posts too.
Go ahead and bring in 2 for every 1 witness I have. You know what? Your people are probably going to be a bunch of useless no-name single-post nobodies, and wouldn't carry much weight anywhere. That's what we've had so far.
And please, don't ask me to explain why you act how you do. I can't explain why you use the name Xian or the name Cyberpunk, or why you break the XWIS rules, or why you come to bitch about it here, or why you came into my channel using your Renegade names. I'd love to hear you explain it though!
I found reference to another I think I missed, bhe.xian... what exactly is bhe? Maybe this is the "other" Xian you were talking about.

Chrono, please just shut your mouth, you do not know what the hell you are talking about. bhe.xian is an invalid nickname for IRC and Renegade so therefore you are lying about that. I did not go into your channel nor have i ever heard of it, AND I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT SERVER ITS ON. And i know how to script, so why dont you post this nice little script you have.
BTW: Thank you crimson for unbanning me, i promise it wont happen again.
