For some reason, Renegade limits me to "2d Poisitional Sound"
or whatever the driver is. I just played some multiplayer with a really nice headset. God damn. When I walked, It sounded like I was surrounded by many people, when I am simply alone. The sound isn't exactly positional either. Sounds mono.


Anyone know a work-around?

Theres no other options??

I have onboard sound and i have atleast 4.

Even when BHS updated the sound support in Renegade, I still have to use Miles or it sounds really weird or off. I have a perfectly legit sound card and 5.1 speakers. I guess they did the best they could.

Dunno EAX sounds good with meh Sound Blaster Xfi Big Ups Before that integrated sound was good, never had a problem with it.
