I would not say this was a 'cheat' like a wallhack or aimbot.
Instead this guy was able to switch teams on a non team swicthing server and what's more before he switched he would load up a building with C4 switch and blow it and get the points.
He repeated this twice at start of every game and just went and bought a tank or whatever he fancied.
Was a half renguard server and the guy was using renguard.

It was NE Public Warzone.
It was not a moderator and the name was iamakoti - It was a WOL player and when asked why the scores were 'funny' he was the only one to reply and said cause the server is screwy  .
He did it 3 or 4 games in a row and I took some screenies just in case.

Hmmm...does your server run WOLSpy? This might be related to the NetDDE hole...as exploiting that WOULD give the exploiter the power to move himself at will...or could it be a one-off cheat program we're dealing with?

i am a moderator on [NE] Public Warzone
i did indeed drop two timed on two buildings, switch myself, wait for the timed c4s to blow, purchase an APC, and drop two more C4 on two of the other team's buildings as well, and then switch back. I did this only when there were fewer than 8 players at the game start and on maps which suck with such few players (such as Under and Hourglass) to help speed their finish. i was relatively equally unfair to both teams. i did not bypass renguard to accomplish this, so this should be taken to the [NE] forums if you wish to continue discussing it.

saying i'm a mod in-game when on a nick that doesn't have moderator rights doesn't help entice cheaters to come out so they can be banned. it's something i like to do, catch cheaters off-guard, when they think there's no one that can stop them.

but i doubt this ever happened.some1 was switching him

The current Problem is, that for Example DeathAdders Aimbot IS working with RG. It runs as a separate process in Windows.
When configured correctly, some cheaters use it with Snipe Characters often. Tunnels are the famous location of those people, like on Field or Canyon... If you got a player with more than 50-60 Kills on a Westwood Map (server 60-100% filled up), it's going to be unusual I think.
I dont know more Cheats which are working while RG is running (only tested this some time ago), but the question is= Will there be a fix against such Tools in Renguard 1.04?

Uh-oh, I think my point from light's RG thread has been made the hard way...I'll see if I can track down a copy and send it to Crimson...if she doesn't already have one...
Edit: aimbot (er...clickbot) found...guess I'll have to test it on the unfortuate bots of Multiplayer Practice mode! (and send it to Crimson somehow)
