Sometimes when I join a game(I use GSA) and then later when I exit the game, Windows XP says something about "This program encountered an error and needs to close" and when it asks to send a report to Microsoft, I click "don't send". After I do that hovewer, my whole screen goes black and I can still use my computer, but I just can't what I am doing. How do I know this? Because I clicked all over the black screen, and when I clicked on a centrain spot, the black screen dissaperated. Later it turns out that I clicked on a spot where exit button for Renguard was. Now, when I have this black screen, pressing alt+ctrl+del, alt+tab, or alt+F4 does not work. I tried everithing I could think of, but nothing worked(except restart of course).
I hope you understand what I am trying to say, because I don't know how else to explain it. I was not usre if I should post this in Renegade client so I decided to post it here.

sometimes i get a black screen i can't get out of (and it usually might be that i have to click all over the screen) a more simple way of getting rid of it is to hit ctrl alt del and then hit delete again (meaning it'll ask you to close whatever program was selected on the ctrl alt del screen) and then hit enter to confirm. Normally it should snap back out of it. you'll close whatever program that was selected but it's not the end of the world.

What I'm trying to say is that when you hit control alt delete it is working but you can't see it. It won't do anything to make your screen look normal again until you've done what i said (maybe it doesn't work for non-XP if you are) Each and every time I get a black screen and I do that it works. I'd rather not guess where the exit button is when all i'd do is hit
1. ctrl alt del
2. del
3. enter
so unless you've already tried that then I'm sorry. It's not the same as hitting ctrl alt del because that never worked for me.
Either way the best way to preventing this is just remember to hit escape if it seems it's going to go into black screen.
