Just because it is bypassable it doesn't mean it doesn't do anything. punkbuster and VAC for cs are both bypassable but they sure do help in rooting out cheaters. Hell, I was in a server that didn't even have half-rg and it took like 5-10 minutes for this mod to kick a cheater that i knew was cheating(bighead) Fact of the matter is that an anticheat such as renguard reinforces the belief if you think someone is cheating. If some guy shot you around a corner with headshots and you didn't know if it was lag or big head and you look to see if he has RG. Wouldn't you think there'd be more of a chance he was cheating if he was NOT using RG? logic would point to yes.

it's a matter of being a good gamer to install it whether or not you cheated in the past or not. I've never cheated once in the +3 years i've played this game but i don't see myself better than anyone else that i don't install it. In fact I think anyone who WOULDN'T cheat would be just to quick as I was to install it and keep it running. It's just so childish if it really is a "matter of principle" You think you're the only fucking guy out there who hasn't cheated? Think again.
