I got it once too. I think renguard was haveing problems because people were getting kicked left and right. Check again cus it seems to be working fine now.

It's a bug with RenGuard, ignore it. There's nothing wrong with your PC.

tho this is been replaced with a diffrent problem...
if i have mIRC on i cant run renegade..
if crashes before i can see any menu ..

mIRC has nothing whatsoever to do with renegade, are you sure its not something else causing the crashing?

I've had mIRC affect RA 2 but nothing else.

what speed is your internet connection, and whats your computer specs?

if your using a 56k modem its *possible* that renguard is losing connection to its master servers and closing renegade, which can be caused by mIRC hogging the bandwidth. I highly doubt it though, mIRC is not bandwidth intensive.

Then it woulden't give him an Buffer Overun error. He would auto re-connect to RenGuard or he would lose connection to RenGuard.

I've had that problem before, try turning off "flash mIRC taskbar button on new message" and/or minimize mIRC to the system tray. Some systems like to minimize fullscreen apps (such as renegade) when another app tries to flash its button in the taskbar.
