They're not scams. They're schemes to get you to be interested in a certain product or service. Their advertisers pay them so much to be on the site, and then in return, the site pays you for clicking their advertiser's ad, and they still make money off of it.

They don't pay you, they pretend they do.
Edit: Hum... I think I'll try this one, looks more trustworthy than the other ones I tried in the past.

I've done I of these kind of things before and it turned out to be a scam, but I'm not sure about this one.
When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself,
First as a dark demon,
As a demon it uses its power to reign death upon the land;
and then it dies.
However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns.
This time as a great hero...
