Ok... Here's my problem: I have an older computer. It's a Intel D815EEA motherboard with a Verto TNT-2 32mb video card, 224mb RAM, and two small hard drives. I have Windows 2000 Pro installed on the computer with Service Pack 4. So when I went to install Renegade, it prompted me to install DirectX. Ok, sounds good right? Right. So then I restarted, blah blah blah, and when it came to starting Setup.exe (the installer), I got an error. It says that "Setup.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. Please restart the program." The only thing I can do is click Ok. I tried to copy all the installed files from my computer over to that computer and then run the game, but that didn't seem to work. Can someone please help me figure out what is causing this to get an error. I even had Renegade installed on this motherboard and video card before. The only thing I changed was the Hard drives and CD-ROMs. WHY!!??
