Go to their website...there is a tool there, simple enough to run that will direct your Ren game to send you to XWIS instead of WOL...you connect as normal after running the programme, Ren > Multiplayer Online > Westwood online > Advanced Games listings and it should bring you to XWIS servers.....If you wanna reset it to WOL (doubtful) run the tool again and click Reset!

If all else fails......see if you can direct connect to some servers using a simple irc script. I have one people can use....all you need is the I.P of the game server, It's port and your nick name (and irc)

servername {
run "C:\Westwood\Renegade\game.exe" +connect **.ip.here.** $+ : $+ PORT +netplayername " $+ Nickname $+ "
}

Place that in your aliases folder (in irc) and when you wanna join while on irc type /servername It will automatically take you through ren and into the server to join.

------------------------------------------------------------

If that is too much for you then just type:
/run "C:\Westwood\Renegade\game.exe" +connect **.ip.here.** $+ : $+ PORT +netplayername " $+ nickname $+ "

In the irc chat window you are in....(although I don't think this cmd works if you have RG)

NOTE please change the following on the above cmd: **.ip.here.** needs to be the servers I.P
PORT needs to be the port number
nickname needs to be changed to whatever name you are using.

I hope this helps some of you, I know it is quite confusing, but hopefull XWIS will get a move on in the merger and we can return to our happy fun ren lives....
