I was just saying, how can you prove it was them... You can't. Don't get me wrong, renguard was a great idea, but the only downside is that is slows the game for online play.

plus I guess you would have to work for your hack. If the hacks became widespread, you would solve them.

Brenbot has the option to slow you who destroyed/killed the vehicles/characters. That way you would be able to tell.
There are logs that also so who destoryed/killed what.

Perhaps not by BHS directly, but I have had many an argument with server moderators that believed RG detected all cheats.

If either side doesn't, then that side doesn't belong there.

CrazyBastard: are you leaving any detail out (however small you believe it to be)? Like, for example, what you were doing before you were banned (and why)?

That true, but there are server networks out there whose owners and mods believe RG can't be bypassed, I just don't play there anymore.
As a side note, I'd like to thank you Kanezor for the way you act on these forums, you are one of the few I feel I can actually have a debate with without it degrading into an arguing match.

RG does not ban you by your name only. So, not only could you have evaded the ban, but I seriously doubt you bypassed it at all.

RG does not slow down online play. The data that the RG client sends to the RG network is a drop compared the waterfall of game data. I cannot even imagine RG slowing down gameplay unless you were playing on a 1200 baud modem. There is also some silly notion that RG slows you down more if you are on WOL versus GameSpy or RenIP...funny thing is, the RG datastream is the same regardless, which proves right there that some users perceptions are false.

Here's another example:
You're a cop. A crime investigator. You go ahead and murder some people. You do this and claim it betters your abilities with your job as you know now how a murderer thinks. Would the court be okay with this, or would you be jailed? Not a hard question.
There are way too many people defending themselves the same way you did. To all of them: if you want to study the cheats on your own so you could "indentify them better", set up a LAN game. If you can't, then don't. Leave anti-cheating attempts to those who can, and are dedicated at fighting cheaters, like BHS.
There's a hole in the sky through which things can fly.

I think the term dumb fuck works better!
Just for all the mindless haters of RG..."people in servers using !forcerg to someone better than them"......think hard, back to the times before RG. Those people did a similar thing...want an example:

you need 3 !forcerg requests from different users to be forced to use RG....same as a poll would need more than one or two people for the vote to pass.
Lastly RG has never given me a virus, or Trojan or slowed my game play or frame rate or picked on me, called me a loser, sent me a tell and then banned me....stop whining, other than the Norton troubles people are having, there is no one universal bit of proof that RG does any of those things.....only people who don't want to TRY it or just don't want to use it, coz it would stop them cheating tell everyone else dumb enough to listen and take them seriously that BHS is using RG as a mass conspiracy to take all your bank information and rule the entire known universe!
Yes I over exaggerated, but so do alot of people who claim RG is crap. Like RenX said: BHS never claimed RG was perfectly infallible, they just said it is an improvement!

an improvement my arse, it just takes up sapce, people can still cheat with RG on, and thats when the mods will usually say ( about 75% of the time) o, he/she has renguard, he/she dont cheat. and that totally is stupid, what happened to the good ol' times, when some1 thought a cheater was there, and a moderator, admin, or halfmod made it their duty to see if he/she was cheating? those were the good days.

And the only way for sure that you know your statement to be true (i.e those people who are better than you are cheating with RG on) Is if you are that person you claim to bitching about, In which case you should be banned too!
It IS an improvement. It takes up very little space, it doesn't use more than 10th the amount of memory that ren itself uses when running, so for that number to make a significant difference in the first place.....your computer sucks. Because my pc stinks, but I still get excellent performance using Ren and RG at the same time as well as TS, mIRC and MSN (sometimes media player).
!forcerg is useful for people to kick a cheater in game when no moderators are around. so like I said, an improvement, because that player isn't banned, they can always play there again, just use RG. You won't argue out of that, there is no harm in downloading RG and using it...apart to your EGO....just make sure it is from the official Renguard website....any following posts that say they recieved a virus through d/loading RG (appart from the Norton issue which is currently being resolved) is full of shit!
