Civ 2 was REALLY great especially when you made the transition from old-world to modern-world. Leo's Workshop to the rescue! Your militia has turned into a trained fighting force! Your boats are now badass!
...I added the plumbing improvement which was strangely disabled by default, too. Have you ever seen a Barbarian Paratrooper in the ancient times? He's this badass Shogun looking guy who can teleport.

Yar! Build the Great Library so you don't fall behind in techs while you build large numbers of cities (but remember not to rely on it, as it gets disabled right as everyone's getting to the modern age). Build Leonardo's Workshop to get free unit upgrades (woo! though, you do lose veteran status ), then build Adam Smith's Trading Company to pay for about 1/3 of your spending. GG.
Only things I wish Civ II had that Civ III has is the totally awesome new trading menu (fsckin awesome, really) and the territories (nothing like capping a city 1 space away from another city, ending the war, then starting another war because the damn asshole can't keep his units away and always bitches when you don't).

Good luck and happy hunting everybody. I hope nobody ever feels the urge to cheat in this game and potentially ruin the experience of any other player. This game has had enough detractors throughout the years, from cyberprick to even EA itself at times. Here's to three more years, years of cheat-free gaming for me and for everybody hopefully. I honestly apologize to anybody who feels that at some point, my cheating has led to an unfair situation that caused them any amount of grief at all. I humbly ask for your forgiveness for all the times I was cheating, either caught or let off scott-free.

If anyone is ever serious about something like this, keep it to yourself, because I'm almost 100% sure most people that come here have atleast cheated once... Yes, including me. During my n00b days I even tried final renegade and big heads, whee.
