I'm sorry I had to make this post. My friends in IRC convinced me it would be the best thing to do. Give me strength guys. I'd like to apologize for all the cheating I've done over the years. Renegade really has been fun for me the past 3 years (wow, that long already?), and I know many others would agree. I'm sure everybody's had their day ruined by a cheater at one point, and I'm sure that at some point, lots of people have had their round ruined by none other than me. My biggest fear would be that all the cheating I have done could possibly have turned people away from this great game. I hope that nobody who ever plays with me ever changes their mind about how much honest fun you can have playing it, honestly. I'd like to apologize to the moderators who have had to deal with tons of people spamming them with "omg chrono hax" and all the attempted votekicks and such (even in servers that have no such votekick system but still had people trying). Finally, I'd like to thank again my friends and all those that have supported my through the years, defending my credibility whenever it came into question. I hope my apology can be an inspiration to everybody, non-cheaters and cheaters alike. I'm not, however, going to apologize for all the trash-talking. I'm sure you all saw that coming.
lol kthx I've never cheated before.
Good luck and happy hunting everybody. I hope nobody ever feels the urge to cheat in this game and potentially ruin the experience of any other player. This game has had enough detractors throughout the years, from cyberprick to even EA itself at times. Here's to three more years, years of cheat-free gaming for me and for everybody hopefully. I honestly apologize to anybody who feels that at some point, my cheating has led to an unfair situation that caused them any amount of grief at all. I humbly ask for your forgiveness for all the times I was cheating, either caught or let off scott-free.

I'm pretty sure it's a joke. From my viewpoint, Chrono always seems to feel better in the knowledge that complete newbies at Renegade think he cheats, just like they think most people cheat... makes him feel really good about himself. I'll never stop chuckling at the time we banned him for lag killing everyone and then he went off on a "you just can't handle someone better than you" rant.
So, yes. I think he's joking. If he's telling the truth, then actually I think I like him a little better.

If it is true, then it's too late. You don't come back on me that easely. By posting this, do you expect us to tell "yay, you're the man: you stopped cheating!"? The real "men" in here aret he once who never cheated in a game where the chat lobby bot tells you where to get the cheats.
Once a cheater, always a cheater in my eyes. Even if you don't do it again, you've done it before and ruined lotsa games and created lotsa stress.
You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord

Look underneath it in the gallery.
It says reserved, then there's the name of who it's reserved for.
Anyhow, if Chronojam is a cheater then my arm is actually a yummy, yummy sausage.
YARR! The pirate life is for me!

People do change over the years. I have confession to make: When I was 8, (I am 19 now) I used to play Doom 2 and Descent 1 with cheats(both games on singleplayer of course). I don't remember why I did it like that(it was long time ago) but I do remember that once I beat the whole game, I realized that games are not made to be beaten quickly, they are made to last as long as possible, so I spoiled the whole game for me(or in another words "cheaters cheat themselves") and that the game was no longer fun(I cheated my self out of the fun of the game), so I swore that I will never use cheats to win again.
But I think that cheating in singleplayer and multiplayer is very different. In singeplayer, you spoil the fun for you. In multiplayer, you spoil the fun for others.

| I love the "Civilization" series of games. Except, I hate how it takes FOREVER to get to any fun point in the game (eg, "today's" technologies). So, I'd make maps that would pit all the players against each other, but with the whole of the tech tree researched. I figure, that's only about as bad as a modified RA/RA2 maps in which the entire map is gems -- you pretty much don't have to wait for your income.
Although, it wasn't so bad in Civilization II, since it was a lot more fun during the beginning eras than the same eras in any of the other Civilization games. Especially on the European map. Damn Civilization III for not having a decent equivalent! Europe would be awesome with 15 AIs!
