ok heres one, try and keep a steady hand, don't try and move your hand too much, just try and practice keeping your reticle on the player while moving side to side, so if you move left using the keyboard (sidestep left) then compensate by moving the mouse to the right and try and keep the reticle on the players chest for now, and then try it the other way, and then practice doing it while jumping, like jump up and compensate by moving the mouse down and try keep it on his chest for now as its an easyier target.

then try and do side stepping while jumping while compsentating the mouse up and down and left and right. stick to the chest as a target for now, and then once you have mastered that, move onto the head as a target.

remember to keep a steady hand, don't try and make sharp movements on the mouse.

once you have done that, you are well on your way to being one of the best snipers

thats a tip from me.. hehe i loved my sniper days!!

Just a small ditty here...

Grab a 500 credit sniper, because they r0xx0r the b0xx0rs of the 1000 credit snipers...

Use 3rd person view...

Now this is a trick I've found works very nicely... When you're in 3rd person view, go up to a corner, but not around it. Rotate the character, so the 3rd person view actually shows you what is beyond the corner. However, if you have radar on, then you really don't need this tactic.

RADAR IS YOUR FRIEND.

Jump around and throw the mouse around when you're reloading in a close combat fight. Just fling it up and down so your head is always moving vertically, as well as horizontally...

Practice.

good tip DR. Other ones, if you snipeing at far.. never stay still, chances all if you see them, they see you.. always remember duckin and save ur life. While jumping and trying to get HS.. lead your target... usally takes me 2 or 3 shots before a hit.. some only one. If you suck at close combat with sniper rifle... stay away lol.. easier said then done, if your being rushed.. run back to base and snipe from there. And remember if you cant hit a head, look for feet, gun, hand or knee (still can cause a kill).. If you want.. this on the weekends... look for me and we can do a one on one match? or you can come into one of the sniper servers with me. Add archcasp to your WOL buddy list and ill be on sometime friday and til monday noon.

When your target is at a set level and you are not in close combat. You get the crosshair in line with the opponents head. Move side to side trying not to move the mouse as much as possible. On the other hand, if they move, move your mouse.

Yea I rememer playing with you last night, I killed you a few times =)... ok to add a friend into the list. during the list of game servers.. it has a button along the bottom that says page buddy, click on it, and it would say add buddy... put my name in and add me, it would show you whenever im online.

And to your question I always use 3rdperson view, unless im along a way, and it gets all weird and shit... 3rd is good to see behind u as well

Ducking will do absolutely nothing for you in any kind of sniper match. I don't care of philosphy on it, when you duck, you are even more suseptible to being hit, even more so in the head. Not only that, but you move slowly, it takes time to stand up, and increases your character horizontally.

Do not duck.

I have, however, found instances where it was necessary to conceal my presence by hiding behind a rock or wall, and ducking was the only way to do it.

I got questions i think every1 should answer so i get an idea on what to do.

1) Do you use the scope while moving and trying to kill someone??( while playing in open or if you have a long way to shoot ( or any other place doesnt matter ))

2) Do you always aim for the head or just get what you can??

3) also i need EVERY1's opinion on this one Keyboard only or Mouse and Keyboard???????

4) Also Any tips on how to target quiker??? It always takes me a costly 2 seconds to focus on their head and sometimes just on their body.

5) and 1 more last thing Any tips on shooting a jumping and moving person from far away while your moving back and forth side to side?????

Thanx all for any and all tips you can and have submitted!!!!

Mouse and keyboard. You need to be able to at least hit them while jumping, and strafing to the sides is a good idea. How do you aim with keyboard only anyway? Oh, and dont use the arrow keys. Use "w,a,s,d" as they allow you to strafe.

Ok... here's my question... When the enemy sniper is warping side to side... Do you follow with reticle or do you pick a spot and wait for his head to be in it?

in this, if ur a good sniper u can follow where he is going and aim where u know he would move. If your not that good of one, aim for the larger part of the body (the chest) its easier to hit while moving like that.
