I had installed Renegade by my friend, and he wanted RG too. Unfortunatly, the firewall blocked RG and so we were kinda forced to uninstall RG again.
But we uninstalled RG and fired up Renegade. When we try to connect to WOL we get the message: Requesting server list.....
It keeps going on and going on.....
Plz help me (and my friend of course  )

However, I only need to go to the latest HUD thread at RenForums to remind me of how dumb I was for thinking such stupid things.

Is it a software firewall? If it is, just configure it to allow access. If the game hangs in the "requesting server list", the firewall has probably made a popup which asks for permission, you just can't see it because you're running a full-screen application. (Seriously, this is causing SO many problems when people think their game crashes when it's just the firewall instead. Might be a nice idea to make games connect before going full-screen, like DoW)
There's a hole in the sky through which things can fly.

Thanks a lot, i will check my friend firewall later, i am very busy now.... (I really hate homework) but it keeps strange that we could play it first whithout RG

I will try that too, but the problem whith the firewall is, that he wanna play, but his parents don't want Renegade on the computer. Uninstalling the firewall would be recognized, and then he is the dick. With a software firewall i can configure it, but a built-in i don't know.
I will try anything said here, if his parents are not home today. If they are, bad luck. But i will try ASAP.
