Hey, just looking for everyones opinion here before my brother and I go cruizin after the paint dries.

He just finished painting it and I just finished helping pull the tape off. It aint nothing professional but it did take 50 bucks worth of spray paint.

Once the paint dies some more we are going to pinstripe it with black.

That's neat. And it's a Beatle... That's neat.
If you did that professionally, it would've costed a hell of a lot more than $50.

He said it would of cost of him about 200 bucks to have it done professionally.

This was just something to do because he could. The whole car needs a professional paint job soon anyway.

Actually for a VW Beetle it is kinda original... Do you know how many of those things were made? I have never seen in real life a beetle with a flames job and my family is in a VW club!

Its simply a way to customize the beetle to be a little more original since they were some of the most heavily produced vehicles ever.

You can easily find a vehicle with flames on the hood but when do you see a beetle shaking right next to you at a red light. The sterio in the back shakes the whole car and then to top it off now it has a flame job. That to me makes my brothers VW original.

In reply about the spray paint. I'm not sure what kind he used. I laughed at him when he first said what he was going to do because I figured it would fade or peal Razz

For my first car I'm probably going to be 4x4in a VW beetle. 3 inch suspension lift($300) and a 2 inch body lift($200).
