I recovered my computer because of recent viruses... my computer recovers most of what i have on the comp before i restarted windows and it saved renegade and renguard.. i still have to re install them for drivers etc. so i re-install renegade and i came here to get renguard but whenever i load up the setup it says 'Game.exe already exists in C:/Westwood/Renegade/ cannot install' i have searched for renguard and i looked in westwood/renegade but i cannot find renguard... how do i uninstall it or get the setup to work?? someone please help me..
ok i just deleted the old renegade files.. now it says 'C:/Westwood/Renegade/ RenGuard must be installed in your renegade directory' and then it doesnt install!!!! AHH someone help me!

you really should have just started from a fresh install, its more efficient. RG won't install because it needs to be installed to the Renegade folder, which from what I understand you just deleted. So you have to install Renegade again, patch to 1.037 and then install renguard.
Also I believe renegade install will simply overwrite existing registry keys, but if it gives you the option to uninstall then do that first.
