Wait a second. If Adad is so approachable and friendly and eager to hand out serials...

Why the hell hasn't Adad posted here yet? Why hasn't Adad set up his own request form or provided contact information?

I want a serial. Right now. I salvaged a system with 512mb ram, and a 2.8ghz CPU. I want to run an FDS for RenAlert. Where is Adad at?

Fail.

For those of you that don't remember, there was a time when the FDS serial webpage was completely broken. This lasted for a few months and then EA fixed it. I know multiple people made scripts to claim alot of serials incase the webpage ever broke again, and at this time no one knew it could actually run out of serials. So bashing Adad or anyone else that did this is stupid, as they were just thinking ahead, getting prepared if it ever broke again.

Yeah, and I don't fault him for that. If I remember right, he never knew his script would get so many so quickly, or that it would actually run out. All I'm asking for is a measly 1000 which would last us years so that I can make them more easily available to the community again.

I'm the bawss.

Solution to the problem: Enter EA HQ and steal the master serial server.

http://www.n00bstories.com/image.fetch.php?id=1159434659

Me and Crimson sneak into EA HQ desguised as repairmen. We both have handlebar mustaches. We tell them we are there to do some routine maintenence on the server and when we receive it, we high tail it out of there!

http://www.n00bstories.com/image.fetch.php?id=1162897042

Then we escape from our conveniently placed rooftop Hot Air balloon while the EA CEO shakes his fist in fist shaking rage at our daring.

http://www.n00bstories.com/image.fetch.php?id=1234906102

Upon reaching the BHS Derigible we enter and attempt to set up the server to get to work.

http://www.n00bstories.com/image.fetch.php?id=1293722272

To our dismay however, when we plug it in and turn it on it blue screens while opening the Database!

http://www.n00bstories.com/image.fetch.php?id=1248895827

Luckily Aircraftkiller was near to lend us advice on why it was crashing.

http://www.n00bstories.com/image.fetch.php?id=1395741988

Indeed, someone had skinned this Oracle build...

http://www.n00bstories.com/image.fetch.php?id=1348030199

With some working we managed to deskin it and texture it properly and get the database opened. Adad doesn't actually exist! We now see that this was all just a ploy so EA wouldn't have to give out any more serials and the game would finally die once and for all!

Compeling. I laughed, I cried, and hated EA. All of the great elements of story-telling.

Although I prefer not taking this thread off topic, I have to say that I LOL'd at that cartoon.

funniest cartoon ever!!! Very Happy

When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself,
First as a dark demon,
As a demon it uses its power to reign death upon the land;
and then it dies.

However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns.
This time as a great hero...

I've said this before, but apparently, I have to say this again:
If you're not going to post something relevant, or if you're going to post simply to bash the idea of leaving this post up so, in the chance that this "Adad" fell'a does read it, he might be convinced to liberate some of his ill-gotten gains, then please. Don't post here. Make your own topic elsewhere. Whine in your Live Journal. We don't care. Just take it elsewhere.

Now, as for trying to sway someone like Adad, I think it's a good idea. You never know. He might very well want to give the serials out, even if for some-odd price. If not? Then oh well. At least you tried. And there's absolutely no harm in trying to talk to someone.

I PM'd adad on a particular IRC network where he hangs out, asking him to talk to me on n00bstories IRC, or on AIM. He did not respond. So he is either busy, didn't get the message, or doesn't care to discuss anything.

He openly admits to it. Plus, I asked him privately once to give us some of the serials, and this was his reply:

I'm not going to waste my time to copy/paste the serials or giving out the FDS serials mail account information. But You can tell them to pm me on the Forum or IRC. I'll give them the serials.

That says quite a bit considering it wasn't too long ago that you were asking for donations, hun. Or. . .maybe that was someone else. . . I don't remember. But I do know that you still have lots of money going out, so. . .
