Here's the thing, if Crimson would have thought of the idea of snagging FDS serials she would have just like many others would have.

Why would she have done that, when the existing system of requesting and receiving serials was working just fine? If someone needed one, they could go to the westwood page and get one. Now that Adad stole them all, nobody can get them anymore. This thread is about asking Adad to turn some of them over to us to make available to the community again, I'm not sure where you are trying to take it.

Its Adad's choice of who gets them being he gathered them.
People do ask him for them and he shares them.
He dosn't slap anything on it so they don't have to obey by any rules to get them.

Since he has them all, yes it's his choice, and we are giving him the choice/option of giving some of them to us so that we can make them easily available to everyone. I don't know what these rules you are talking about that we would "slap on"...the only thing mentioned was that we would have safeguards in place so that another person couldn't exploit like he did and take all of the serials.

BHS just looks more like power pushers to me.

We have proven that we are here to support the community. BHS pays over $500 per month just for the servers that run and maintain the RenGuard network, not to mention all of the mental effort, skill, and collaboration we do working on projects and applications for the community. Power pushers? We are doing all of this for you and the rest of the community. Sheesh. It's pretty laughable that you support what Adad did and are fine with it, yet everything we do for you and everyone else who plays Renegade, we supposedly do for "power". Roll Eyes

I really don't understand why certain people have always said that we are "trying to own Renegade". All we are trying to do is help and improve things.
