Should we fix Base 2 Base on Islands and Walljump on Mesa?[ 83 votes ]
1. Fix Base 2 Base On Islands 17 / 20%
2. Fix Walljump on Mesa 1 / 1%
3. Fix Both Base 2 Base On Islands and Walljump on Mesa 60 / 72%
4. Fix neither 5 / 6%

We are looking into a way to fix base 2 base on islands and walljump on mesa.
Some people on the team think its good, some think it isnt.

What do people here think?
Should we:
A.fix b2b on islands
B.fix walljump on mesa
C.fix both
or D.fix neither

Just what is walljump on mesa? Is it where you hop the wall on the long flank with a $1000 character to (I presume) beacon the Power Plant by taking a hit?

If so, please don't alter this. The ground is on a high and it would be logical to jump over this barrier. On Under, you run down tunnels and use the high ground to hop onto box tops. This is the same thing, except it can be used for something. Even if a westwood employee came and said it wasn't intended, why not? I've used it as a last resort when my base is being blown up.

B2B on Mesa (and Walls for that matter) isn't really broken enough to be gamebreaking. Most people are well aware that doing it on Field will get you banned everywhere, and all 3 issues are tough enough to pull off consistently to make them impractical.

GDI will be too dominant unless it's a really small game if hillcamping's disallowed

EDIT: Regarding the actual poll, I'd vote for stop b2b but don't stop vehicular walljump. But I wouldn't mind so much if walljump WAS stopped

Eh, it's far easier to hillcamp with an mlrs than an arty, this move would benefit NOD not GDI.
