So I decided to play some WOL, loaded up rengaurd and then got into WOL. I clicked advance game listings and it says there is an update, so I download all 18MB of it. Then it says the game has to restart, it restarts I load renegade back up and I click advance game listings, and another update? the same site. So I click cancel and go to the Reneade update.exe and it downloads it and then gives me this error:

I'm not to sure if I do have my renegade disks, so I don't really want to reinstall in fear of rengaurd not working, because it works fine now. And I have heard from to many people that there rengaurd screwed up for whatever reason.

Hmm, try again. If it doesn't work then say if you have done/installed anything for Renegade lately. If you didn't do a thing it would be better to reinstall Renegade, patch it, install no-CD if wanted, install Rengaurd, install CP1. Then try to play.
But I recommend you try to run the update from the link of the ftp.westwood.com site.

OK, so I reinstalled, did the renegade auto update, installed rengaurd and I can play Renegade with no problems, on GSA. Now when I go to play on WOL, i get version mismatch:
