also you can run win32 fds on mac due to a wonderful program called http://www.macwindows.com/ im not sure if thats right though

What I'd LIKE to see is somebody (Silent Kane, this sounds like a job for you...) reverse-engineer the WOL protocol and then build a WOL SSC that a) runs on Linux and b) is a seperate executable from the FDS. (Think WOLSpy, just for Linux and in reverse).
