You're going to have to be a little more specific than that if you expect to get any real help. But in regard to Renegade Alert, just install it to whatever directory(any directory but the directory where you installed Renegade) then run the Patch program and direct it to your Renegade Alert directory. Simple as that.

Instlation? it was a Zip file, how am I supposed to instal that?
and what patch program? (just new to this buisnes).

Edit: just to be more specific:

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS - YOU MUST READ THIS IN ORDER TO PLAY THE MODIFICATION: Go into your C:\Westwood\Renegade directory. Rename the Scripts.dll file to Scripts2.dll. Take the Scripts.dll file in this zip archive and extract it into your C:\Westwood\Renegade folder. Then extract the RedAlertMod.pkg file into your Renegade\data directory and play as you normally would.

I followed the instruction and it still don't work.
I'll just try again incase its my comp.

If you're going to play Renegade Alert, you should visit http://www.renalert.com and use the forums there to have your questions answered.

alright thanks for the help, seems like the ZIP file is a fake or some kind of spy, I'll run a scan and report.

I doubt that zip file cointains spyware. If yes, then your computer was already infected to begin with.

Renegade Alert comes in a .exe installer, and the mod is in .mix format, and is installed to it's own folder seperate from the Renegade folder (C:\Westwood\RenAlert). The mod hasn't been in the .pkg format in a .zip for many releases.

You need to go here: http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~renalert/content/old/downloads_p atches.php and download either the .993 full installer, or the .991 installer and each patch up to .993 and install them in order.
