ok, here's the deal. as i've said before you people on here talk a good game about the war and what should be done to the terrorist but have any of you gone out and signed you for the army,marines,etc to help your country or do you sit on the computer and just talk shit about people who say the war is stupid?

And that, my English friend, is yet another reason why I respect you and your fellow countrymen. Your. . .Prime Minister, is it? He doesn't just go balls-to-the-wall and start throwing bombs and infantry at what is the suspected source. We, on the other hand, are at war with an enemy that doesn't exist. You heard me. Initially, we started this war to get back at Al-Quita(sp?), if I'm not mistaken. Then, since we were over there, we figured we'd check up on Mr. Saddam and his area. Well, in the end, we did a lot more damage than we were aiming to do, what with the country going into total and utter chaos once we captured Saddam(and even with a new person in power, I don't think it's eased up too much). But I digress. I don't know the specifications, and therefore, have no right to get into them. I just speak on what I know, unlike some people.

k, let me just sign up for the Canadian army whose equipment was great in WW2 but not so much now.

Americans fighting the war are better americans than I. Some of us don't choose the military path, and are instead in college or already have full time jobs of our own. For me its both.
