Does anyone know why the Level Settings... never seems to work anymore? It used to work just fine for me back in the day, but now that I want to use it again it always crashes level edit. Are we supposed to make no more flying maps or something? That was the only way I knew how to enable it. Some of my friends say this happens to them also.
Anyone know whats up with that?

It happens to me too. Probably a result of security patches from Microsoft or something. This is really bad, as it has almost stopped me from working on any maps even though I've really felt like it... =\

I figured this out awhile ago...Right click on the .exe and disbale visual themes.

The same thing had happened to me, and quite a few other people.

Would either of you two be interested in submitting to a Mapping contest for CP3?

I beleive Halo38, and Sanada will try and submit a map for the contest.

I was talking to jon wil about it the other day.Im going to post details soon, it will most likely be a 1 month long contest starting this weekend(or when I post it).

There wont be any rules on my end, unless BHS thinks otherwise.

I'd like to see alot of the community that has had previous mapping experience to try and enter,I'll talk with JW and post more details soon.

Well then, I'll have to start thinking of ideas quickly starting now if I want to do well.

Is this contest thing still going on?

Looks like BHS shot it down.

I made a topic about it and Crimson has yet to discuss anything about this idea.

So unless we just make this contest for something else or even just for fun, there won't be a BHS mapping contest until they decide on it.

Im still all for a freindly mapping contest if you want?

Anyways, I like the idea of just a general contest held by you. I have never released one map for Renegade. Huh
