This is probally a common thing,but when I double click Renegade it shows the little start up thing then it just stops.I check ctrl+alt+delete and it's not in process tab.How do I fix this stupid bug!

which windows version are you using?
renegade disappears because for some reason it failed to load...thats also why its not in task manager.
Try updating to the latest Direct X version and also post here any changes you might have made to stop it working (if it was working before)

Not sure if this is what you were talking about. Sometimes renegade will not show in the process list or taskbar but ALT + Tab into and out of the game. It may appear there else its a problem with the loader.
Let all your wishes be granted except one, so you will still have something to strieve for.

very doubtful this will fix the problem....but it's worth a try....

the reason I don't think it will, is because I know of the problem and have had it. the problem isn't with the CD, it's a problem with something the game.exe is doing with relation to the rest of your computer settings, i.e. your directX or vid card drivers. you need to tell us what happened from between the last time it worked and since that.

It says the same exact thing before.I did what you said,unchecked the box,pressed ok,and as usual said

sam thing is happening to me and nothing works.. it has been working fine then all of a sudden it doesnt work  its pissing me off and it want it fixed!
