Hey I download the renguard and install it but when i go to play the game is says "Failed to recieve list of available master servers. Check your internet connection" so now i can not play when it is install what do i do????I'm on coxs so i'm always on the internet......Now the core patch it will not let me install it? It also say I'm required to close down renegade FDS....What is renegade FDS???? I need help.... Dont Get It

renegade FDS is a server to host renegade, so others can join your game and play. I think you may have got the wrong core patch, get this one http://download.renguard.com/standalone_cp1.zip or once you get renguard to start you can have it dl core patch for you.

"Failed to recieve list of available master servers" I believe happens if...
1. Your not connected to internet.
2. You have a firewall and it blocks renguard from communicating with it's server.
3. Renguard server is down.

hey i looked at my firewall and it is not blocking it and my internet is always connected so i don't know what to do?

Renguard server isn't down right now cause i can connect to it. So i would have to still say it's your firewall.

What firewall do you have?
Try disabling it/turn it off/disable Intrusion Detection, just for a few seconds while you retry to connect to renguard.
Try finding game.exe settings in the firewall and make sure you allow connections to and from it and internet.
