i'v been banned from renguard because my brother tried attempted to exploit renguard. a few years ago and got our ip banned from renguard. now he dosn't play anymore and he moved out and i wanna play but i cant. can u please unbann my account to (shane0087)he was banned my mac

If my friend/brother/dog tried to exploit RG on my computer, I'd beat the shit out of him.
Why is it always the friends who try to do the RG exploiting?! Do it on your enemy's computer ffs =O

A few years ago. Am I getting old or isn't it true that renguard has not even beem much more than 1 year around?

hi this is my situation:
a few weeks back, I was lookin for skins and came across an M16 skin, so i d/l it. Then after puttin it in my data folder i proceeded to play renegade which opened renguard and i clicked renegade as normal and went to my fav server (Xilserver). but when I got there I got a renguard pop-up sayin "get renguard now etc..."
so I thought it didnt connect to server. So I exited game and ran renguard again, but this time I waited, and it said I been banned for tryin to bypass renguard! why? I did get to use the M16 skin which looked pretty cool, but renguard must think its a cheat the file was called something like M16.w3d, was this file dodgy? and I was wonderin if I could get unbanned coz this is just bogus! I cant stand cheaters and dont really see the point in it. I wouldnt be askin to get unbanned but it sux not bein able to donate to ppl in game, and forcerg those cheatin bastads! so plz consider my case

The reason you can't use the w3d file, is because all w3d files can be possible cheats. A w3d files has to be first approved before you can use it with Renguard. You won't get banned because of having a w3d file in your data directory but you can't use Renguard untill you either removed the file or the file has been officially approved.
My advise is removing the file from your directory and see if you can now run Renguard, if not there must something else wrong.
Size doesn't matter.

mozaik, first you should of started your own thread instead of posting in an existing one.
Second, I see o_flag.w3d << I don't think renguard would like that file. Renguard doesn't like w3d files.
And you were baned for "tryin to bypass renguard!" i'm sure it has nothing to do with M16 skin or w3d files.

I also thought it to be a lil strange to ban me for 1 file, perhaps there are some other dodgy files that came wit it, grrr... Am I doomed to be a non-rg player for the rest of my renegade days?
