how do you send messages direct to another player the message comes up in blue ,with yo telling you ,you have a direct message ?

/page <name> <message>

example. I want to page you, so I type /page alyangula hey dude

if they are in the same game as you, never mind the /page command, just go straight to /name message

Flying fox, for people who are ingame /<nick> <msg> works just fine. no need for /page <nick> <msg>
