I understand him, he wants to do better. I couldn't do too well when I wanted to make a site either, I used premade templates and such and they usually had bad text styles and stuff....
Deadfive, you need to learn how to make your site. I mean, in a nutshell, you need to learn how to use Photoshop to make a template. I use it for all my templates now, plus the little amount of HTML and CSS I know.
You can look at http://www.good-tutorials.com/tutorials/5 to see how to make templates in Photoshop, I'm sure that you seem dedicated to your site enough to learn to use it.
Don't try to make anything elaborate. I tried to, but now I'm aiming for a simpler effect like this: http://arctic.trielite.net/htmlproject/ compared to my current template.
Unless you want to be a Web Development site, having an elaboratly decorated site isn't the best. You just need it to be presentable.
And maybe only post here when you add to your content
No. Seriously. No.
