When I start the Renegade.exe launcher to start the game....it says:
Invalid Working Folder
Set Working Folder and try again
could someone explain this to me in normal english...thx allot

Hey its me....i got that working folder thing fixed........but now when i play the game it sometimes goes smooth in the beginning and then i get this very unbelieveble big lag and the whole game becomes unplayable....
I got AMD athlon 1,6 ghz - 256Mb RAM-Nvidia Geforce 2 MX 32 Mb video memory - ADSL
What can be wrong? what can i do to fix it?

Sorry to bring back this old topic, and sorry for not reading over other people's posts about this same topic.
I was having the same problem HunG was having, except my Game.exe did the same thing, which was:
Invalid Working Folder
Set Working Folder and Try Again..
Help?

ok erase every thing relating to renegade in ur computer either using uninstall wizard or simply just right clicking and cliking delete now try ur old or new renegade cd and install it

The working folder error is when you remove Game.exe and or Renegade.exe from the Renegade folder or have a shortcut telling it to run in C:\ or something. Best way around it is to install Renegade and run the Renegade.exe from the actual directory and see if it loads okay.
