why i cant play single player mode off line. my renguard wont let me play single player mode off line. How do i shut renguard down without uninstalling renguard. Confused

It should have no effect on SP. Just open Renguard, it will connect to the master servers wether or not you want to play online, and then click Renegade. From that point, you will go to the Renegade menu as normal, and you should be able to play SP.

If this is what you are doing, and it doesn't work, shutdown Renguard and Renegade, then go to the directory where Renegade is installed, and run game2.exe instead of game.exe. This will run Renegade without Renguard.

Im guessing he has dial up because when you are not connected to the internet, Renguard won't let you play Renegade. What i did back when i had 56k, i had to shortcuts in the start menu, one Renegade shortcut (Renguard) and the other just Renegade (aims for game2.exe). Hope that helps.
