I never drink.
It's why I'm so thirsty all the time.

The whole business of being somehow portrayed as "cool" by altering your brain chemistry to turn yourself into a dumbass is one of the most rediculous ideas I've ever heard of. Those people you know, Glyde, are just playing into the hands of Big Alcohol, who want to make alcoholics out of children by running advertisements and subverting youth culture into a positive depiction of the effects of a mind-altering, dangerous drug.
Recreational adult drinking is fine with me, I have no large problem with it, assuming no cars are involved.
Kids getting wasted is not.
I myself have never drunk more than a taste of beer and/or wine. Personally, I think they taste quite poor.
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)
"The danger to political dissent is acute where the Government attempts to act under so vague a concept as the power to protect "domestic security." Given the difficulty of defining the domestic security interest, the danger of abuse in acting to protect that interest becomes apparent. --U.S. Supreme Court decision (407 U.S. 297 (1972)

I'm perfectly calm. I was just wondering why you quoted his post when you said that, unless you weren't thinking... which happens to anybody.

Yes, i have drank alchohol before. Since about when i was, i think, ten. No, eightish.. I dont remember, i have apoor memory, though i know it was atleast 4 years ago, on July 4th, so i was at most 9 years of age. If you are good at math, you will have guessed i am 13. I agree with Crimson, that there is a time, and a place to drink, and not just for fun. About three years ago, 2002, in September, i drank approximately an inch of Crown Royal from a pint bottle. On the first day i ever drank alchohol, i drank about three, or four "shit beers". The ones that are very little proof, and taste like Lemonaid without enough sugar. I do not perticularly care if people drink. Also, i believe that the Forum creator said "Please do not discuss anything, just answer the questions".

Well, I think it's an important discussion to have, especially with so many impressionable youths around.
And whoever said that people drinking doesn't affect anyone else? Why don't you tell that to the thousands of families who have lost a loved one because THEY were driving sober when a drunk driver hit them. When you drink and drive, you affect yourself, your passengers, and everyone else on the road. It's one of the most stupid things you can do.
As for pot, I used to know a guy who smoked pot all the time. One day he was depressed because Domino's fired him and Pizza Hut wouldn't hire him, so he ordered a pizza from Pizza Hut and when the lady (40 year old mother of two) delivered the pizza, he shot her point blank and killed her. He was convicted of second-degree murder. When the cops arrived and asked him why he did it, his pot-hazed reply was "I don't know". You can be DAMN sure that I will not allow pot into my system, nor even into my house. People say it's not addicting and it mellows you out, but what I see is that it takes away your concern for anything. You just do whatever you want because you don't care about the consequences. I have a very low opinion of people who smoke pot on a regular basis.
I'm the bawss.
