Yes you can. Download singleplayer maps from ftp://ftp.westwood.com/pub/renegade/tools/
and open them with leveledit. You can add anything under Objects to your map when your done All you have to do is save your map in your data folder. Dont export your map just save the level files and make sure the name of your map is M03 or whatever level your making.:}}

you can make it a .pkg however when you do this remeber to select the mod package name in your FDS's config file. This will also make the game un-laddered.
