Do you drink?
If yes, for how long?
Since what age?
I'm asking these questions, I don't really want discussion. I just want people to answer them, straight out. If you can say no to the first question, PLEASE RESOND, I can use the information.
Why am I interested, you may ask? My name is James "Arctic" Findow, I'm in Grade Eight at an elementary school in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I myself despise drinking. Too bad that people in my grade eight class got wasted this weekend, and think it was "cool."
I want you opinions. I remember a month or two back when I started the teen resource extension to TriElite, and that failed. I guess I didn't have the motivation for it, but now reality has hit home.

1: Twice a year or less.
2: Varies on the situation. Though i dont get heavy with it.
3: Since 16 years old.
Comments: I dont think drinking is a thing you should do everyday, or even once a month. I believe there is a time and situation, and to never drink to the point of cellular damage. My friends and I will have a glass of wine on each others birthdays, but just one glass. Past that your just sinking to lower middle class behavior.

I drink occasiocally, never to the point of getting pissed though, a few shots of whiskey or a few glasses of baileys at weekends...

8th graders got wasted? They is very sad.
I'm 16 and I don't drink. I have done on many occasions, but I NEVER overdo it. I never let myself get drunk or even to the point where I am irresponsible in any way.
The only reason I would drink is if there is an occasion, I'm drinking with others and I like the drink. I'd never touch beer or whiskey because they taste like shit. I'll have some Rum or Tequilla when there is an occasion only because I enjoy the drink - not because I want to get drunk. (And this is with my parents around)
8th graders drinking... If they have tried it with their parents or something, then that is ok. However, if they got drunk by themselves, then they need an ass whooping for being retarded. They need some discipline.

I'm 21 - been drinking since I was 17. I have some where from 2 to 5 beers (pints) a week, but have never been drunk. When I do drink I only ever have 1(abottle of beer or a glass of whine-jackD-whatever, and then I stop - preferring soft drinks instead.

Most alcohol tastes horrible and it would seem likely that many people kid theirselves that they like it so that they can get drunk. Drunks aren't a problem so much as what they leave on the street as you walk to work the next morning...despicable.
I like some alcohol, of which I take at pubs and parties, but the stuff I take has little in it and is more on the tasty side as it holdes less than 5%. Although we sometimes buy a bottle of vodka between the 3 of us at my house...that stuff gets you dizzy after like 3 mixes, and it tastes terrible if you don't put in enough coke/irn bru/lemonade. What about shots? I hardly ever take them...

I first drank when I was 18, now I'm 25. I had moved away from home to another state and I figured if I was responsible enough to support myself, I was responsible enough to decide whether I should be allowed to drink. I have never had more than a couple of wine coolers, or 3 mixed drinks (Midori Sours) in a single night. I have never been drunk and have no desire to be. Most of the time, I don't drink at all and prefer to serve as the Designated Driver since I have a minivan. If I do drink and drive on the same night I have one alcoholic beverage first thing and wait at least 2-3 hours before driving.
I personally believe getting drunk is incredibly stupid, especially when you do stupid things afterwards like drive, or have sex with someone you just met. Getting drunk at a place where you can spend the night or have a sober ride home is fine... in moderation, 2-3 times a year maybe.
I'm the bawss.

The whole "getting drunk" thing is completely stupid. Why "have fun" if you can't remember it or control yourself? I believe alchohol can even be healthy when used in moderation. I also believe the drinking age in the US should be lowered to 18. Also, drinking doesn't offend God, getting drunk does (Eph. 5:18).
God is the "0wnage". Plain and Simple.

I don't drink, I really don't see the point to it as it is expensive and if you overdo it you feel like crap and make a fool of yourself. However I think there is nothing wrong with having a glass of wine or beer with dinner.

I'm 17, and have never ever drank before. I really dislike young people drinking, and I'm glad to see that you don't approve of it glyde, it really depresses me sometimes how people think getting wasted, acting like idiots, and putting their lives at risk makes them cooler. I've gone through personal issues before with this, and even though I've never known anyone who has died because of drinking, my girlfriend used to drink a lot. She started around 13 yrs old (this is incredible to me). When we started going out, she found out that I didn't like it and tries not to, but still does sometimes. I don't mind if she drinks lightly every once in a while, but imagining her or one of my friends getting shit-faced sickens me. I applaude you and all others who see the stupidity in drinking at such a young age.
