Do you want aggressive censorship?[ 52 votes ]
1. Yes, please clean this place up 8 / 15%
2. Hell no! Things have been this way and should stay this way. 17 / 33%
3. I really don't care one way or another 7 / 13%
4. Just ban Aircraftkiller and everything will be fine 20 / 38%

Ok people, since it has become apparent that my "favourtism" isn't welcome here, I'm going to do what I have been trying to avoid.

As of this Friday, unless convinceed otherwise, I'm going to start censoring everything that would go against the forum rules. This way, the "abusive" etc. nature of Aircraftkiller's off topic posts will no longer be a threat, and no one will get away with anything.

Keep in mind, this is something that I am doing, and the other moderators and the forum administration are not bound by this.

So, speak now. Do you want things to continue as they are now, or do you want there to be more enforcement of the rules? It's all or nothing.

Yes, this would have been a click-to-vote topic, however I am unable to figure out how to set one up.

Those that are claiming favoritism simply have no clue what it means.

Fuck changing things now. Leave them as is. You're not going to please everybody, so I wouldn't even attempt to. You'll just be giving into these immature children.

whoa.

You should leave things as is. If someone doesn't want to read AircraftKiller's replies then they don't have to. Why punish everyone because of people not knowing how to ignore things, or put people on their ignore list?

NEIN! The reason some of us want Aircraftkiller banned was because he seemed to not care about anything to do with Renegade. Just a thought. Some people in the community just grew to have an extreme dislike of him.

No. Seriously. No.

warranto, you ought to know better than anyone that if all of the forum rules were strictly enforced, this place would look like the VIP section at a labor rally... because everyone would be banned. Wink

Go for it, Warranto. Rules are rules, and they are there for a reason. Enforce them please. Smile

Don't enforce them, everyone should suffer by Aircraftkiller's comments until they finally realize that they can just ignore them.

In my opinon things on this forum get blown terribly out of the water all of the time. Much of the time it seems to be a flame fest, but all it really is a few swear words to show force, not anger or dis-liking. WHen someone says 'What the fuck, thats the stupidest fucking idea i've ever heard" On the internet means its not a stupid idea, its a REALLY fucking stupid idea lol. I don't know how to explain it, but thats just how the net is.

Plus if you were gonna do this a few years ago would have been a great time.

Man, when one person's opinion becomes an apparent consensus and a need for a public affirmation, a nerve must have been struck somewhere, lol. You do know that it would be much easier on you to simply ask ACK to stop posting the off topic threads, and asking everyone else to stop posting off topic responses to ACK's off topic posts, but if this is an easier way out of having to do that, I'll play along.

Censor away, won't bother me one bit.

I so badly dissagree to that, AK is who he is, why should he just change that because a few people hate him. Futhermore, I dont think he deserves to be banned for being himself.

He wouldn't be changing. We would simply be getting rid of the problem. Like I said in my other post he only wants to stay here for his personal ego

I have a problem with this! It seems pointless! If the vote comes out and people want aircraftkiller banned - will he be banned?
Or will it just have been a bit of a waste - wouldn't it be smarter to have.

1hard core moderation!
2keep as is!
3I don't care!

If people want aircraftkiller banned, just a separate yes/no poll would be better.

Umm, public affirmation? Since when have I cared whether or not people agreed with what I do?

This is just a chance to see which way you people wanted it to go. However, if that is too much for people to do, then it can end here.
