If it's a unix server, probably because your page is Index.htm instead of index.htm. The default document has to be whatever is in the config file of the Web server, and Linux is case sensitive.

OMG thx i thought my site was screwed. How do you like the new layout? I did it in photoshop. Its my very first photshop made site so any ideas/comments/mild flaming would be nice. and thx for the help to fix that lil problem.

Actually I got rid of that whole idea about keeping the website up that I have right now. I am currently working on yet another template that is organized, simple, and not really fancy. I think it may be the best one yet. But I did figure somthing out:
1) I will never get positive feedback about my website from these forums in my life.
2) Whatever I do will never be good enough for you guys.
3) And three, this is the only place where I can get quick feedback when I need it most.
4) I am going to keep re-doing my wensite until I do get some positve feedback. But unlike last time, I will be using the same topic, but renaming it. And boo hoo if all I talk about is my website? What else is there to talk about? The world is dull right now and some of you guys are nitpicking at the dumbest things I do.
But I am not going to give up hope on my website nd maybe someday you guys will find it in your hearts to say something nice to me or my website. The only true person ho ever stuck up for me in the forums has been SickO.
I will not give up.

Deadfive, you must simply understand that you try, but we just find it annoying. Maybe if you were annoying us with nice looking work, but instead you plague us with topics that are as wanted as dirty socks. Your work would be good, but everyone here that has made fun of you constantly has experience with making websites or graphics, even me. See, if you make a nice looking webpage, maybe read some tutorials, we'd give you lots and lots of positive feedback. Okay? Okay.
