Hello there, Names Willy

I just downloaded Renegade (CD's from long ago dont work anymore)
This is the first time i installed it on the computer (installed 100% fine)

Basically the Renegade AutoRun comes up, i Click "Play" the little loading window with the orange look to it comes up, and it stops and it wont go as i cant close it (Does not appear on the Windows Task Manager)

Now ive tried fidling with the compatibilty features to no luck.

Any help greatly appreciated Smile

Issue Type : General Game Functionality
-ZzZ-Always had this issue or just recently started ?
-ZzZ-Recent changes ? (Have you recently added/removed any software/hardware previous to this issue occurring ? Added any mods/skins ?)
-ZzZ-Operating System ? (Win 98, Win ME, Win XP ?)
-ZzZ-Specific time the issue occurs ? (Only on certain servers ? Only when Nod/GDI ? Only in vehicles etc ? Only as specific char ?)

Basically this is the first time ive ever installed the game on this computer, and im using XP
Renegade is the Original Version aswell, and im not using the CD! (virtual CD drive thing)

the wrong forum section, but not the wrong forum.

Get renegade 1037 english from ftp://ftp.westwood.com/pub/renegade/updates/

Try game, will probably still crash. if so..

get the noCD from http://www.beaconpedestal/com/nocd 1037 english version

that will stop the renegade loading image from coming up and go straight to the game. might still crash..
