Recently I came across a program that triggers people's heads in Renegade. It's not really an aimbot, because it doesn't always hit, but it's more like a trackbot, because it helps you aim.
I was under the impression that Renguard stops all cheats, but it seems I was wrong. This cheat is not located in your Renegade data folder, but on your desktop and you can turn it on and off at any given moment (say: when someone asks for a test).
If the people behind Renguard want to take a look at this program, they can pm me and I'll be happy to show them.
If you want to remove this topic because of the content, I can understand.

what, is it some crappy bot that presses the fire button whenever the aiming reticle turns red? I've wondered about this and it seems RG probably couldn't stop it, but then such a cheat would only be useful for instant hit weapons anyway

I brought this up a while ago, maybe they could detect the programs process ID or something to block it, I tested this myself. The thing itself is gay anyways, it always misses, might as well just pretend to shoot the person, he'll probably die faster.
No. Seriously. No.

do you have any idea just how bad your average cheater is at renegade? without cheats they would probably miss a harvester.

Blazer tested a clickbot and it actually made him worse, not better. What's the worry?

No, what I'm saying is that the clickbot will make you miss MORE.
No. Seriously. No.

For laughs, I have the voice program mapped to press Q .. which is my secondary primary fire. Not quite a clickbot, but funny to think that if I like up a shot I can yell DIE to kill somebody.
Oh, and this isn't a "new" form of cheating, this "clickbot" idea has been around forever.
