On my table I have four round cups. Under these cups are a number of balls. The same number of balls are under each cup. But, you don't know what this number is.
I then give you four statements. ONE of these statements is telling the truth. The others are lies.
1/4 --------- 2/3 ------------ 2/4 ----------- 4/1
Statement 1 says there will be either 1 or 4 balls under each cup. Statement 2 says there are either 2 or 3. Statement 3 says there will be either 2 or 4 balls and the last statement says there will be either 4 or 1 balls.
So, how many balls are under each cup?
