the game is still being baught and if we get enough people to sign here that it is going to cost them lots of money if they loast they will do it
and i must add they build the server in the first place it shouldnt cost much to repair

I bought the last copy on Ebgames. I bought it two days ago just for the hell of it, 10 minutes later it was removed from their games list.

That could just be an attempt to stop people from putting up more servers. After the older ones move on to new games, there will be no new servers to take their place. Then when there are few left it will be easier to make up an excuse to shut down WOL...

Yes, that would seem likely. stop giving support and wait for people to move on. after all the game's probably costing them more money than they get from it...I do wonder if WOL will close down by the end of this year. There are a lot of empty servers, so many a000 that force their way to the top just so the remaining ren players will join....if there were enough players there would be no need for that....just goes to show how few people play.
I don't think this richard guy should be contacted, take a hint. if EA want the support to stop it's up to them..

The FDS generator DID run out of serials because SOMEONE wrote a script that regged them all. 50,000 of them, actually. That person should fess up to what they did and hand over the serial to BHS so at least we can re-distribute them. Or at least half... or 1000... something.
The core email at the start of this thread is full of factual errors and is so unprofessional I hope that it meets with a swift use of the Delete key.
And personally, I would rather shut down my servers than EVER move them to XWIS.
