Hello;

I'm emailing you in the response of how badly you have treated all players on the WOL network particularly Command & Conquer: Renegade. I must say I am extremely disapointed, the clans page no longer works the ladder has gone down frequently in the last few years along with the network itself the FDS serial generator has a bogus messsage saying the serials are all allocated which every server host is laughing at your stupidity for. I must say that when I and most game users buy a game we expect a certain quality of support and service for the game especially online play, especially when the company is baught out. This should be encouraged more if you wanrt there customers you obviously bought them out for there consumer platform but by toying with us and insulting us with your pathetic and feeble ways of "maintaining a server" which is much a laugh. I do hope you clean up your act, because if you don't you are going to loose the majority of westwoods customers. I must say these are fairly simple problems for example the clans page all you need is to put the images on the server its not hard my 7 year old son could do that. I truly hope you read this email, and do not just toss it aside and do nothing.

I agree with the email, HOWEVER, it's absolutely pointless. EA isn't going to budge. It will cost them money to improve WOL, and they're not willing to do it on a game that's 3 years old and is ever losing more and more players. Not to mention that I wouldn't even spend more money trying to improve a game that's not going to grow.

I bought the last copy on Ebgames. I bought it two days ago just for the hell of it, 10 minutes later it was removed from their games list.

Im sorry, but that was a big waste of time... Sad That has all been done before. In fact I think there was several hundred people who signed it as well. I am not trying to put you down, but you just wasted 10 min of your life writing that letter.

The FDS Serial generator was closed down. I mean obviously they didn't run out, that's pretty unlikely.

That could just be an attempt to stop people from putting up more servers. After the older ones move on to new games, there will be no new servers to take their place. Then when there are few left it will be easier to make up an excuse to shut down WOL...

Yes, that would seem likely. stop giving support and wait for people to move on. after all the game's probably costing them more money than they get from it...I do wonder if WOL will close down by the end of this year. There are a lot of empty servers, so many a000 that force their way to the top just so the remaining ren players will join....if there were enough players there would be no need for that....just goes to show how few people play.

I don't think this richard guy should be contacted, take a hint. if EA want the support to stop it's up to them..

Remember, this game is no longer offically supported. Emails like that would most likely cause more harm than good, especially when you go and blatently insult them. It would be quite easy for EA to shut WOL down, simply because they decided not to put up rediculous complains of the type this email represents.

The FDS generator DID run out of serials because SOMEONE wrote a script that regged them all. 50,000 of them, actually. That person should fess up to what they did and hand over the serial to BHS so at least we can re-distribute them. Or at least half... or 1000... something.

The core email at the start of this thread is full of factual errors and is so unprofessional I hope that it meets with a swift use of the Delete key.

And personally, I would rather shut down my servers than EVER move them to XWIS.

There is really absolutely no reason for the serials anyway. All it does is piss off there customers there free why hastle your self to distribute them if you didnt actually need them in the first place.....

......Well i went to EA's Support system and this is what I got not for the letter above but for asking about serial numbers..........

it says they are all allocated but there re millions of combinations they cant all be taken.
