I decided that I don't care about the flaming and I shouldn't let it bother me. So I am back. I was wondering what a good FPS game would be that will take me a long time to beat. Something extremely hard and fun. So if anyone knows about any extremely hard to beat FPS games, please let me know.

Far cry would be my best advise.
And deadfive, you are slowly starting to learn it. Maybe in the end will be less annoying. Just like alot of people have forgotten Alostsoul is the banned SWEET guy indisguise.
Size doesn't matter.

Well, you're on a fine track. As for your question, Far Cry is good extremly hard though, Doom 3 is pretty long took me a solid 12 hours to get to the delta labs (Not for those who get scared easilly). HL1 and HL2 are both great games, I highly recommend them. I beat hl2 in about 15 hours, and I'm still working on HL1. I had alot of fun with CoD too. That took me about 15 hours to beat that. I wouldn't get Halo PC unless you have a monster rig, Halo PC is one of the most unoptimized games I've ever played.

Tooncy is right , Halo: Combat evolved takes a huge amount of resources. The game is poorly optimized as he said. It takes about as much resources as doom 3 to run , If not more!
I recoomend Doom 3 though. The game is really long. I still haven't beat it. I don't really have a lot of time for gaming though.
Check out brothers in arms: Road to hill 30 too. I've barely scratched the surface of that game but it's really fun.
Half life 2 was good but not very long. It was really fun but the story wasn't too great.

Half-Life 2 is longer than Half-Life 1, and half-Life 1 is long. It's just not a very challenging game unless you actually play it on hard (which most people don't). The story may not seem great until you actually play the first one. I've noticed A LOT of people saying it's confusing, and almost ALL of them saying they haven't played the first one... WELL DUH!!!
Halo 1 isn't very optimized because they did a shitty job compiling it from Xbox to PC.
Brothers in Arms is really great, but I beat it in two nights, lol.

I cannot believe that I forget deux ex! That is one of the best games I have ever played. I must have played that one threw 10 or 20 times.
I didn't realise that halo was a bad conversion. That explains why I can't use the higher setting.

FarCry
Call Of Duty
United Offensive
Doom 3
FarCry had the best single play I'd have to say. Took a while to do and the storyline was excellent along with the grpahics.
Call Of Duty was very close though, very tough on Veteran mode. Extremely realistic on veteran mode, 1 or 2 shots and your dead, no helath kits and your teammates actually do stuff rather than get themselves killed.
United Offensive was about the same as the above, but there was more tanks in this one. And now there are tanks in multi-player.
Doom 3 is very fun, storyline is somewhat uninformative, but then again John Carmack isn't know as "Uber 1337 storyline maker" however, he is an "Uber 1337 game programmer" Doom 3 has excellent graphics and the single player is very tough and scary.
