Ok this really works! All you have to do is write an email like descibed below.
For this to work you must provide an existing nickname and a VALID email address which was used to CREATE this nickname with.
If you are unsure if you used a valid email adres, or if you just want to make sure everything is cool.
The best is to just create a new hotmail account and use this new email to create a new nick for WOL:
Create a new Hotmail Account
Create a new WOL nickname
Once you created a new nickname you will not receive a confirmation email from EA/Westwood Studios.
However, you CAN start using this nickname right away by just signing in with it on WOL.
Now you should goto westwood's renegade FDS serials page:
Request a Serial for the new nick & email
The Serial Emailer is working again so what follows below is not neccesary anymore (maybe when its broke again lol).

When you completed requesting a serial for your just new created nick you must email to EA Technical Support as follows:
Email to: support31@ea.com
Email Subject: FDS Serials, Richard A.
In your email your write this:
Login used to request a FDS Serial: Nick you used to request the serial with.
Email attached to this nick: the email you used(MUST BE VALID!!)
Enter some nice words here, thanks you godlike master of renegade etc..
Regards, yourname.
Now send your email. You should receive a response pretty quickly that he will look at your request and then after a few days up to a week after you should receive new FDS Serials.
Enjoy your new serials soon,

I got this one when I sent into the support email.
Hello
Thank you for contacting me. We are still looking into this issue. The server used to send out these email is functioning. However some people have not received their numbers.
Make sure your email account is not blocking any emails from YourRenegadeFDSSerial@westwood.com. Also, try creating a Westwood account with a different email address.
There is a chance we can get your number. Go ahead and send me the following information:
Login used to get a number:
Email the login is attached to:
Click here to submit the above information http://eatech.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/eatech.cfg/php/enduser/ask.php?
Be sure to include FDS at the beginning of the subject line.
I will have to manually request it. Once I have a serial number I will be emailing it to you. This could take as many as 4 days to process.

I know sending them to support31 will get you bounced. Like he said they are ttrying to close that box down. If you send it to the other link it should still get to him.

Hello, I was requesting FDS Serial numbers for the eight ( nicks
above, and I get the following:
a000000mc FAILED All FDS Serial numbers have been allocated please
contact Westwood Online Support.
Is there a reason why you are wanting us to contact you? Because most
of the time, a generator creats something. In thise case, the
generator is suppose to make FDS Serial numbers. Not hand out already
made ones. And stupid errors like this set you as a bad habit. Now I
don't like what you (EA) have done with Westwood. You basicly screwed
up everything. It was fine before EA steped in. I have only one game
from EA. And it's C&C Renegade. The best game created by Westwood. Why
can't you (EA) fix something to stay working? Why does it always go
down? Why when I'm playing online, have to shut down Westwood Online
(WOL)? I love the game, and here you are just screwing it up. There
have been no matenence on anything for westwood online. And if you
read this (Most likely you won't) I want you to fix the clan page. Why
can't you just keep it? It need to have pictures and links you know.
We can't read all black font on a black page. We tried to be nice to
you. We tried as hard as we can. And we would like it to be so nice
and updated. If you need, please get someone else on the job. Want to
give me access to the clan page? I'll fix it up like it should be.
Incase you forget what 'nice' looks like.

you sure? how come its SOOOO LONG. I heard from reliable sources that the fds serial has ALL been given out, and no more serials is left. Is it true? if it is, tell us the truth, dont hide. If its not, THEN QUICKLY FIX IT! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR WEEKS! My patience is running out!!!! Hurry!!!!!!!!!!!
