Is EA obliged to stop making the game or something?

I hope they are forced to stop or at least change aspects of the game. From my moral view, I don't think they have any right to ruin a classic movie. That is very retarded of EA. Their lack of creativity to make something new astonishes me.

unfortunatly, not unless Paramount Pictures says to stop (pending how the sale of the Inetellectual Property was done). Coppola most likely does not have ownership of the moive rights, as it would most likely have been part of the deal with Paramount that the studio retained the rights.

A true fan of this film, I await EA's insult of a classic.
As for the director, I don't care much for his opinion... after all it was Mario Puzo's story and the novel is much better than the film... and those of you have read it will know.

think about it, with the game they're likely targetting Godfather fans. When Godfather fans hear that the Godfather director himself doesn't like the game, that probably has a huge impact on their decision to purchase it or not.
